The Xiaomi 14 series, introduced last autumn, has not yet left China. However, this situation looks set to change soon. A work done on X by Xiaomi’s India office sharingsignals that the series may be released to the world soon.
There are two models in the series: 14 and 14 Pro. These phones are not directly mentioned in Xiaomi’s X post. However, the description of the collaboration with Leica shows that the focus is on the 14 and 14 Pro. Both of these phones have cameras prepared together with Leica.
It seems likely that the global launch of the series will be held at the 2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024) in Barcelona later this month. Last year, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 13 models to the world stage at MWC 2023. It is said that 14 Ultra may be introduced this year, along with the 14 and 14 Pro models. The 14 Ultra is expected to have a main camera with a larger aperture.
Xiaomi 14 series came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor
At the heart of both members of the series is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Although the features of the two phones are similar, there are some obvious differences in the display and battery departments. It is also worth noting that the Pro model includes a 50 megapixel camera with adjustable aperture width.
