Realme is preparing to introduce its 14 Pro series smartphones. The series is expected to be launched in various markets, especially India, in January 2025. This series, which will include Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro Plus models, draws attention with its innovative design and advanced technical features.
Realme collaborated with Scandinavian design studio Valeur Designers to develop the world’s first cold-sensitivity color changing technology. Thanks to this technology, the back surface of the device turns from pearl white to vibrant blue at temperatures below 16°C; When the temperature increases, it returns to its old color. This innovation is made possible by the use of thermochromic pigments.
The 14 Pro Plus model will come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen curved on four sides. This screen offers 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, reaching 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. The thickness of the device is kept below 8 mm. The special “fusion fiber” material used on the back panel ensures that each device has a unique appearance.
On the camera side, the 14 Pro Plus model will come with a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 50-megapixel IMX882 periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. There will be a 16 megapixel selfie camera on the front. The device will be offered with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, 8 GB or 12 GB RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB storage options. There will also be 80W fast charging support.
The 14 Pro series will have IP69 water and dust resistance certification. Additionally, the devices are expected to come out of the box with the Android 15 operating system.
