The Google Pixel 10 Series will come with a magnet charging support with Qi2

Google plans to introduce the Pixel 10 series on August 20th. Although it will look like Pixel 8 models in terms of design, there are some remarkable changes on the hardware side. These devices are renewed with many new technologies inside, even if they are not directly noticeable. As in every generation, this time the focal point seems to be performance and efficiency.

On the new Pixel 10 phones, Google is the first time TSMC production is switching to a processor. This chip, which is called TENSOR G5, can provide an advantage in energy efficiency and stability compared to the previously produced processors produced by Samsung. In addition to all these, thermal management of the new chip may be more successful. Thus, it is aimed to provide a more determined and long -lasting experience in daily use.

Google Pixel 10 series offers a solution similar to Apple’s Magsafe system with the support of Qi2

Google’s remarkable move is about the transformation in wireless charging technology. The Pixel 10 Series will support the Qi 2.2 standard and hold the magnet with magnets thanks to magnets to be placed in the phones. This structure is very similar to Apple’s Magsafe technology. Google has made a brand registration called “Pixelsnap için for this new magnetic system.

Three different Pixelsnap accessories are expected to be announced during the presentation period. These include a standard magnet charger, a stand with stand and an apparatus called “Ring Stand .. The ring stand does not technically charge, it only makes the phone stand upright. Thus, users can also position the device on the table without the need for charging.

Pixel 10’s wireless charging experience is not limited to this. The ConvenientPower CPS4041 control chip integrated into the phone can theoretically support wireless charging up to 60W. However, it is not yet clear whether Google will present this power at full capacity. The company can fix the charging speed to a lower level by bringing restrictions on the software side. For this reason, although the support of 60W is remarkable, it will be clear whether it will find a response in daily use.

Google does not neglect the software side of this new magnetic system. The Pixel 10 is a mode called “hub mode, and this mode allows the phones to behave like a smart screen during charging. This feature is similar to the standby mode that Apple offers on iPhones. This similarity also reveals Google’s desire to close the user experience to Apple.

There are some innovations on the color side. Google gives Pixel phones from time to time instead of usual color names. This time, the model, known as “Rock Candy, is not expected to be presented in the market under the name Obsidian (Black). The color called “Mist” is likely to be called Porcelain or Light Porcelain.

These small -seeming name changes reflect Google’s approach to marketing. It may be intended to go to a difference in color names and give the user a feeling of freshness in every new series. However, for most users, these differences may not go beyond aesthetics. Nevertheless, these details are important for the preservation of brand identity.

The total effect of these hardware and software innovations with Pixel 10 will be understood over time. TSMC production processor has a more stable performance potential. Qi2 support can provide new opportunities to Pixel users in the accessory world. With the Pixelsnap system, Google will try to open a new page that will change user habits.
