While Google is expected to introduce the Pixel 11 series on August 12, the largest model of the series, Pixel 11 Pro XL, also came to light with new leak images. Evan Blass (@evleaks), who previously shared promotional materials for the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro Fold models, this time published the images of the Pixel 11 Pro XL, the last missing model of the series. Thus, the design of all members of the Pixel 11 family has become largely clear before the upcoming launch event.
The shared images show that the Pixel 11 Pro XL adopts almost exactly the same line as the Pixel 11 Pro in terms of design. While the main difference between the two models is expected to be the screen and body size, it seems that Google has created a common design language in the Pro series. This approach can ensure that users who want a large screen are not deprived of any design or hardware privileges, as was the case with previous Pixel generations.
One of the notable innovations in the series is the new structure of the camera module, which is completely covered with glass. While the camera bump had different material transitions in previous Pixel models, a more integrated appearance has been preferred in the Pixel 11 family. In addition, the circular RGB LED light called “Pixel Glow” integrated into the camera section stands out as a distinctive element specific to the Pro models. Although it is estimated that this light can be used for notifications, camera functions or different system alerts, Google has not yet shared official details.
Pixel 11 Pro XL will come with Tensor G6 processor
Leaked images indicate that the camera island may be slightly thicker compared to last year. Despite this, it does not seem possible to make a definitive assessment just by looking at press images. The actual size difference is expected to become clear only with the official launch or first reviews of the device.
On the hardware side, it is stated that Pixel 11 Pro XL will be powered by the Tensor G6 platform. According to leaks, Tensor G6 may be one of the first smartphone processors developed with a 2 nm manufacturing process. Such a production technology has the potential to offer lower power consumption and higher performance. In addition, it is known that Google has used the Tensor platform extensively in recent years for artificial intelligence-supported photo processing, real-time translation and productive artificial intelligence features running on the device.
