The recently leaked Tecno Spark 30 has finally been officially introduced. The smartphone offers a 6.78-inch FullHD+ display on the front with a 90Hz refresh rate. This screen, which can reach 800 nits of brightness, can also detect wet and oily finger touches.
The front camera of the device has a resolution of 13 MP and is located in a hole in the middle of the screen. However, there is no fingerprint reader embedded in the screen; this feature is integrated into the power button.
On the back, there’s a circular camera island, and the main camera in this island uses a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor. At the heart of the Spark 30 is the Helio G91 chipset.
The Tecno Spark 30, which has 8 GB of RAM, is offered with 128 GB or 256 GB storage options. The smartphone comes out of the box with the Android 14 operating system, but it is not yet clear how long software updates will be offered.
Tecno Spark 30 comes with 18W fast charging support
The Spark 30 has a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It also has IP64 water and dust resistance certification, a dual speaker system, Dolby Atmos support, a USB-C port, and NFC.
The device appears to be listed on Tecno’s Tanzania website in Orbit White and Orbit Black colour options, but its price and availability dates are yet to be revealed.
