Vivo is preparing to introduce the new S20 series at the event it will hold on November 28. The series consists of two models, at least for now, S20 and S20 Pro. Both models aim to offer their users a satisfying experience in terms of both performance and aesthetics. Ahead of the launch, Vivo officially announced the specifications and color options of both models.
S20 Pro stands out with its “full-depth micro-quad curved screen” technology. This design combines the advantages of flat and curved screens and offers the user an ergonomic experience. For photography lovers, the device has a 50 MP main camera with OIS support and a 50 MP telephoto portrait lens.
The device has a Dimensity 9300+ chip as the processor. This processor promises flagship-level performance. In addition, Vivo’s “Blue Crystal technology” aims to increase the thermal efficiency of the device. However, detailed information about this technology has not been shared yet.
Interesting names were also chosen for the color options of the S20 Pro. Phoenix Feather Gold, Purple Air Coming from the East and Pine Smoke Ink. It is worth noting that these represent golden, purple and pinkish tones.
Vivo S20, the standard model of the series, has an ultra-thin flat screen design with a thickness of 7.19 mm. Offering a minimalist appearance, this model is equipped with a semi-solid state technology battery with a capacity of 6500 mAh. This battery offers high capacity while maintaining the lightness of the device, and the device weighs approximately 180 grams.
The S20 series also stands out with its photography features. An innovative feature called “Dopamine Live Dynamic Photos” literally brings the images to life by adding rhythmic movements to the photos taken. There’s also a film camera-inspired photo mode.
There is a change in color options in the standard model and the gold color is replaced by white options called Jade Dew White.
Members of the Vivo S20 series will be available to users with different processors
Both models have BOE Q10 Eye-Pleasing Eye Protection screens. These screens aim to increase eye comfort even during long-term use. While the S20 Pro comes with the Dimensity 9300+ chip, the standard model is supported by the Snapdragon 7 Gen3 processor.
