Skechers produced shoes with hidden Airtag compartment for children

Skechers announced a new product series for child safety. This shoe, which is called “Find My Skechers ,, allows the use of Airtag with a secret compartment on the heel. Thanks to this design, parents can follow their children more easily. Airtag is placed in the shoe, but it does not come with the product, it needs to be supplied separately.

The shoes are offered in different numbers for children from 1 year to 10 years. The manufacturer says that the secret compartment is not felt by the child. Moreover, these shoes can be washed in the washing machine. This feature provides practicality in daily use.

Skechers makes it easier to follow up with Airtag hidden in shoes

Parents want to benefit from technological solutions for the safety of their children. This shoe seems to be designed to respond to this need. However, this design brings with it some question marks. In particular, discussions about the privacy of children are coming back to the agenda.

It is known that many children approaching the age of 10 have smartphones. Even the children in the Apple ecosystem can even receive a warning when there is an Airtag that does not belong to them. This can reveal the hidden feature of the shoe in a short time. In other words, it is quite possible that the child will realize this follow -up method.

In addition, there are researches that digital tracking tools have an adverse effect on the behavior of children. It is known that especially children who feel under constant surveillance can exhibit more rebellious behaviors. Considering the importance of confidence-based communication in parent-child relations, the use of such technologies should be carefully evaluated. The aim of the technology should not lead to the damage to the sense of trust.

Nevertheless, there are no advantages of shoes. This system may work, especially at school, camp or friends to find the location of the forgotten shoes. In addition, it offers a practical solution for parents who want to take extra precautions on the safety of children. However, like any technology, how and when to use this product plays a decisive role.

Skechers’ new model may not be limited to children. Some users on social media say that these shoes may also be useful for elderly individuals. Airtag, which is placed in shoes against the risk of disappearance of individuals with Alzheimer’s patients, may work. Thus, not only children, but also for elderly relatives can be easier.

In addition to all these, it is remarkable that the secret compartment offers a comfortable use. The presentation of a placement compartment that does not cause discomfort in the standing allows children to wear the product for a long time. This creates an advantageous situation in terms of practical use. However, it is worth noting that Airtag should be provided for the product to be used effectively.
