Samsung Electronics announced the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo model, the next generation of its all-in-one laundry solution. The product, which the company showed for the first time at CES 2026, maintains its structure that combines a washing machine and dryer in a single body, and comes with various innovations such as faster operation, improved artificial intelligence-supported washing programs and the renewed Bixby experience. Samsung states that the new model aims to make daily household chores more practical.
The first Bespoke AI Laundry Combo model, introduced in 2024, attracted attention by eliminating the need for users to carry the laundry to a separate dryer after washing. In the new model, while this approach is maintained, various improvements have been made on the performance side. According to the information provided by the company, the Super Speed program can complete the full washing and drying process in a shorter time under certain conditions compared to previous combi models without air outlet. Samsung particularly emphasizes that performance is not compromised in this process.
The high-pressure Speed Spray technology used in the new system allows the detergent to penetrate the fabric faster and also speeds up the rinsing process. In addition, the new booster heat exchanger system in the device works to improve drying performance. In addition to all these, the feature called Auto Open Door+ also attracts attention. This system automatically opens the door after the washing process is completed and activates air circulation in the drum. Thus, it is aimed to prevent bad odors in the laundry left inside, especially when only the washing program is used.
Samsung AI Wash & Dry+ system can detect more fabric types
Another element that Samsung highlighted in the new model was the AI Wash & Dry + system. The company states that this structure offers more advanced detection and analysis capabilities than the previous generation. Using multiple sensors, the system automatically determines the appropriate water and detergent level by analyzing the load amount. In addition, it can recognize five different fabric types, including Outdoor and Denim. It aims to reduce user intervention by automatically detecting the fabric type and activating appropriate program settings, especially for small volume loads.
In addition, the system can monitor the dirt level in real time and optimize the washing and drying process accordingly. The artificial intelligence-supported automation approach, which Samsung has recently given more importance to in white goods products, is also clearly seen in the new Laundry Combo model. Samsung has also made various improvements on the Bixby side in the 2026 model. The new version can understand more natural speech patterns rather than just detecting fixed voice commands.
