According to information shared by South Korean news source Etnews, Samsung is expected to start the supply process for three foldable phone in April 2025. The mass production will be realized in the same period with Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The sources claim that the three -foldable model is developed with the Galaxy Z series and will probably be introduced at the same event.
The news that Samsung is working on this concept is not new. Last year, Zdnet Korea reported that Samsung Display completed the development process of the three -fold display. Now, the fact that Etnews announced that the process of supply is about to start, shows that this device is closer to the market than ever before.
The only three -foldable phone currently available on the market is the Mate XT model Huawei introduced this year. However, this device will not be available in the US market. Due to the ongoing trade restrictions between the US and China, Huawei’s new generation of foldable models cannot take place in this region. This may allow Samsung to sell three foldable phone in the USA to achieve an unrivaled position.

According to leaked information, Samsung’s new model can be called Galaxy G Fold. Unlike Huawei Mate XT, this device is said to have a double -folded structure instead of a design that folds outward. This design preference can increase the durability by providing better protection of the screen than external factors. In terms of technical specifications, the device, 9.96 -inch home screen and 6.49 -inch external screen will come. The outer screen will be similar to the screen that will be located in the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
