Samsung started tests to bring Android 16 -based One UI 8 to Galaxy S24 Fe

Samsung continues to progress without reducing its pace on software updates. Especially the company, which is active in developing an interface with new versions of Android, is now focused on the Galaxy S24 Fe. Tests on Android 16 -based One UI 8 software started. This version, which is not yet open to the user, is currently tested only within the company.

Tested for the Galaxy S24 Fe, the new software is based on a manufacturer software version of S721BXU6CYG1. The version also includes S721boxm6cyg1 and S721BXU6CYG1 variants. These numbers may show different regional test configurations. However, for the time being, official information is not shared about when this version will be opened to general use.

One UI 8 update to the Galaxy S24 FE model can be presented directly with a stable version

Samsung’s update policy for the Galaxy S24 Fe in the past offers clues about the distribution style of the new version. The company had not carried out any open beta process while introducing this model with One UI 7. Therefore, one UI 8 can be expected to come directly with a stable version. It may not have a chance to participate in the beta test, but this may make the final version more mature.

The new functions that the Galaxy S24 FE will win with this version seems to be remarkable. Android 16’s core improvements will be reflected in the user interface with one UI 8. Improvements are expected by in -system safety measures, background application optimization and energy management side. However, some changes may also include the visual interface.

With the new update, it is aimed to provide simplification and speed increase in user experience. Notification management, application permits and device performance tracking may be reconsidered. With this update, Samsung is trying to promise a more stable and long -lasting use. All these details are not yet finalized without releasing the beta version.

Last April, the Galaxy S24 Fe has received the One UI 7 update. This update was presented directly without any beta process. The same approach may also apply to one UI 8. This suggests that the update can be completed faster than other models.

Although Samsung’s update calendar starts with flagship devices often, the Fe models usually come immediately after this process. Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be updated with one UI 8 towards the end of the year. Although there is no definite date, the fact that the tests started shows that this process is actively carried out. For users, this means a new software experience in the near future.

Samsung can integrate new artificial intelligence features with one UI 8 into the system. Previously, such features have been tested in the main models of the Galaxy S24 series. The Fe model can also take some of these skills. However, the details will become clear when the stable version is released.

Despite all these developments, there is nothing that users can do for now. When the update starts, the devices will be available. In this process, it is useful to check the device software regularly. This update will be important especially in terms of battery and performance improvements.
