Samsung investigates issues with Galaxy S9 and S9+ touch screens

Last month, Samsung introduced the latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S9 and S9+. More and more reports are beginning to appear on the Internet, pointing out that the Galaxy S9 and S9 + have a touch screen on the display. Samsung has officially responded to these reports. According to the company, this specific issue is under investigation.

Samsung stated that, “Customer satisfaction is the core of our business and we are committed to providing the best experience. We are investigating a limited number of Galaxy S9/S9+ touch screen response issue reports. We are working with affected customers and conducting investigations“. Several users pointed out that they can solve specific problems by restoring factory settings or solve problems by increasing the sensitivity of the display.

This is not the first time that a smart phone has encountered touch display problems, and the iPhone X has encountered similar problems at lower temperatures. OnePlus faces similar problems, but this is mainly due to the company intentionally upside down to install the display screen.

For those users who are unable to solve the problem with the suggested solution, it is advisable to contact Samsung directly to replace the equipment. At present, it is not clear whether this problem can be solved by a simple software patch or a hardware defect.
