Samsung introduced the foldable screen concepts of the future in MWC 2025

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) is home to the most innovative products of the world of technology this year, as every year. Although the event is mainly shaped around smartphones, the participants also show great interest in technological innovations outside the smartphone. One of the most striking innovations of this year was the extraordinary screen concepts exhibited at the Samsung Display’s booth. The company launched various foldable and flexible screen prototypes from portable game devices to bag -shaped screens.

Samsung Display is known as a screen manufacturer that develops a wide range of products from smartphone and laptop screens to television panels. However, the company’s concepts in MWC 2025 promise much more than offering screens for existing devices. The prototypes introduced this year give tips on new generation devices that can be developed by different manufacturers in the future.

One of the most popular concepts at the fair was a Nintendo Switch -like foldable portable game device. This device has a flat screen when it is completely opened, while it becomes compact after the game. This model, which attracts attention with its portability and fun color options, has become one of the most interesting products of visitors. However, due to the sensitive structure of the exhibited concepts, visitors were not allowed to touch directly. Nevertheless, the folding mechanism of the device was closely examined thanks to the demo screenings performed by the authorities.

Another interesting concept was Samsung’s foldable screen bag model. This device aims to offer a portable screen experience and aroused great curiosity throughout the fair. However, the details of the use of the device exhibited were not clearly shared. For example, questions such as how the screen will be supported or whether there is a foot mechanism are not yet answered. In terms of design, this model, which resembles LG’s portable bag television, but stands out with a completely foldable screen.

Another innovation at the Samsung Display’s booth was an asymmetric folding phone. This Z FLIP model has a different design that leaves a certain part of the inner screen when it turns off. Unusual, the structure can cause the screen to remain partially unprotected, as it causes some question marks in terms of practicality. However, the two -ton design of the device and the different folding mechanism represent an innovative approach.
