Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will benefit from spare parts in the production of 7 Fe

Samsung’s foldable phone market has been discussed for a long time to offer an affordable option. The claim that this model, which will be called the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe, will be produced with the remaining parts of the company, is strengthened. The leaked render images support this claim.

Recent images show that the design of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe is the same as the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Sizes, screen ratios and even camera placement has not changed. But this similarity is not an indication of Samsung’s strategy to reduce costs, not that Samsung does not offer anything new.

Samsung will use old parts in the new model

Judging by the rendering, a new design language is not needed for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe. The company has transferred the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the screen and the camera module to this model. In addition, there is no change in the size of the cover screen.

On the hardware side, the situation is even more interesting. The Snapdragon 8 Gene 3, which is used in Galaxy Z Flip 6, is said to be preferred by the Exynos 2400E processor. This move means that the price will be reduced by sacrificing performance. However, how consumers will react to this situation.

Samsung’s approach can be interpreted as an effort to make foldable phones more accessible. On the other hand, the fact that competitors offer more innovative models every year makes the company question this strategy. Because using the same design for two consecutive years can create the perception of “nothing new” in consumers.

The camera is not expected to surprise. The 50 MP + 12 MP dual camera installation in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is transported to this model. In addition, some improvements can be made on the software side. But the same hardware remains shows that these improvements will be limited.

Although there is no definite information about the price, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe is expected to be $ 200-300 cheaper than the normal model. This can offer an attractive option for users who are interested in foldable phones but have limited budget. In any case, time will show whether Samsung’s move will be successful.

As the launch date of the product, the traditional Samsung UNPACKED activity time is pointed out. The device, which is expected to be introduced in July or August, can start a new wave of competition in the foldable phone market. In addition, it remains unclear how much consumers will agree to pay for a phone with the same design.

Samsung’s strategy to produce the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe with old pieces aims to make foldable phones more accessible. Nevertheless, the fact that competitors take more innovative steps with each passing day creates questions about how effective the company’s move will be in the long run.
