Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro model comes with a larger battery capacity

Information about Samsung’s new generation smartphone series Galaxy S26 began to become clear. A point that attracts particular attention among this information is that the new member of the series, Galaxy S26 Pro, comes with a large battery capacity. Unlike the 4000 mAh batteries in the previous generations, this time, a long -term use of a structure is encountered. Samsung’s change in response to this change is evaluated from different angles.

The Galaxy S26 Pro will appear in front of users with a typical battery capacity of 4300 mAh. This value is over 4000 mAh capacity used in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24. Compared to the Galaxy S23, there is a significant increase of 400 mAh. This increase can make a difference that can be felt directly during daily use.

The Galaxy S26 Pro model comes with an update for camera hardware

The new model will be a device number SM-S942. The code name “M1 ında is planned to make some changes on the camera side. The Galaxy S23, S24 and S25 model seems to be preferred instead of the ISOCELL GN3 sensor. However, this transition may not mean an increase in the resolution level.

ISOCELL GN5 stands out as one of the new sensors that Samsung can prefer. Although the GN5 offers a resolution of 50 megapixels, it decomposes with some technical improvements. It can provide noticeable developments especially in automatic focus rate and accuracy. In addition, the sensor architecture, which gives more successful results in low light conditions, can move the quality of photography up.

The GN5 sensor stands out with its features such as Front Deep Trench Isolation. This technology aims to offer clearer images by reducing light leakage between pixels. It has been entered into a period in which the sensors are evaluated not only with resolution but also with general building and processing technologies. This approach may mean a more stable camera experience for users.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S26 EDGE model will receive a similar update in terms of battery capacity. The new model will use a 4200 mAh battery. This corresponds to an increase of 300 mAh compared to the previous model S25 EDGE. In addition, the device is expected to get a thinner body than the existing 5.8 mm thickness.

The leaks of the Galaxy S26 ultra -model point to a different point. According to some sources, this model will be available with 60W rapid charging support. Since the Galaxy S series is already limited to 45W, this increase can make a significant difference for users. It is not yet clear whether the battery capacity will go from 5000 mAh to 5500mAh.

Nevertheless, the Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 EDGE models are not mentioned without an upgrade on the charging speed. The battery capacity of both devices is at similar levels with Galaxy Z Flip7 (4300 mAh) and Z Fold7 (4400 mAh). Recalling that these models are limited to 25W charging speed, a similar limitation for S26 Pro and Edge seems possible.

In addition to all these, the possibility of Samsung’s surprise charging speed increase in these models is not completely ignored. The charging time has become one of the most important criteria for modern users. Although the hardware is strong, it can be difficult to reach the desired level in user satisfaction unless improvement is made on the charging side.
