Samsung Galaxy M08 and F08 came with long update support

Samsung added the Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 models to its affordable phone family. Basic technical information of the two phones that follow the current members of the Galaxy M series is available on Samsung’s official Galaxy M08 page. Sales regions and prices will be announced separately by country.

Both models have a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. The 120 Hz refresh rate provides smoother scrolling in menus and supported applications.

The MediaTek Helio G99+ processor is accompanied by 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Storage space can be expanded with a card. Although this structure is prepared for daily communication and video use, high-level performance should not be expected in heavy games.

On the back, there is a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor. The front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels. Camera results will be determined by software processing and low-light performance, not just resolution.

Six version updates stand out in the entry segment

The 6,000 mAh battery supports 25 W wired charging. The IP64 rating protects against dust and splashes; It should be noted that phones are not suitable for submersion in water.

Samsung offers the models with Android 17 and promises six years of security support with six operating system version updates. In the affordable class, long software life is becoming as important a purchasing criterion as technical hardware.

The Galaxy M08 and F08 largely use the same foundation; They are expected to be differentiated by sales channel and color options. It is too early to make a local price estimate before Türkiye sales are confirmed.
