Samsung Galaxy A57 displayed for the first time: Here are the expected features

The Samsung Galaxy A57 was brought to the spotlight early thanks to a product page that briefly appeared on a European-based retailer’s website. Although the official launch has not been made yet, the leak in question has largely revealed the design and basic technical features of the device. This situation strengthened the expectations that the launch date of the new model of the Galaxy A series is very close. Recent leaks similarly show that the development process of the device has reached its final stage. Although the product page was removed in a short time, details of the device quickly began to be shared in the technology world.

Galaxy A57 is expected to be introduced together with the Galaxy A37 model, which has been on the agenda for a long time. According to leaks, there is a possibility that Samsung will announce these two models at the same event. While there are evaluations that the promotion may take place before the end of March, an official date has not been announced by the company yet. In addition, the listing in Europe shows that the design language of the device is largely similar to the previous models of the Galaxy A series. It seems that the camera module is positioned vertically on the back and the simple design approach that Samsung has preferred recently is maintained.

According to leaked information, Galaxy A57 will come with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution. This screen is expected to support 120 Hz refresh rate. In this way, it is stated that a more fluid viewing experience can be provided both in daily use and in mobile games. In addition, it seems that the screen technology maintains the AMOLED panel structure that Samsung has long preferred in its mid-segment models.

On the hardware side, it is stated that the device will be powered by the Exynos 1680 processor. This chipset is expected to offer some improvements compared to the previous generation, especially in terms of energy efficiency and graphics performance. On the memory options side, 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB RAM alternatives stand out. On the storage side, it is claimed that 128 GB and 256 GB options will be offered. In addition, it is stated that Samsung aims to provide stable performance for long-term use of the device with software optimizations.

When we look at the camera system, we see that there is a triple setup on the back. It is stated that the main camera will have a resolution of 50 megapixels. In addition, a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera sensor also accompany the system. On the front, it is expected to include a 12-megapixel selfie camera. Although the camera setup looks similar to its predecessor on paper, it is said that software improvements can be made on the image processing side.

The battery capacity is expected to be 5,000 mAh. In addition, it is stated that the device will offer 45W wired fast charging support. It is known that Samsung has turned to offering faster charging solutions in its mid-segment models in recent years. For this reason, it is considered that the Galaxy A57 can provide faster results in terms of charging performance than previous A series devices.

On the software side, the Galaxy A57 is expected to come with the Android 16 operating system. It is stated that Samsung’s One UI 8.5 interface will be available on it. It is known that Samsung has recently started to offer longer support periods for software updates. Therefore, the Galaxy A57 is also expected to receive Android and security updates for several years. Despite all this, the exact features and pricing of the device will become clear with the official launch by Samsung.
