Samsung ends update support for Galaxy A51, A41 and M01

Update support for Samsung's Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41 and Galaxy M01 models has ended. This decision means that these models, including the 4G version of the Galaxy A51 5G, will no longer receive any software updates.

On the other hand, Samsung appears to be rolling out the Android 14 update more effectively than many of its competitors in the industry. With the company's rapid distribution of Android 14 in Turkey, many Samsung devices have received this new operating system. The flagship series is among the first group of devices to receive the Android 14 update; Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra were included. This update later reached high-end models such as Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4 and mid-segment devices such as Galaxy A24, Galaxy A34 5G. Again, Samsung distributed the Android 14 update to models such as Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A73 5G and then to a wider range of devices such as Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A14. While the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A04e and Galaxy A04s models were also updated in the latest update phase, the company's Android 14 update strategy in Turkey achieved a remarkable success in this process.

It has been observed that Samsung does not limit Android updates only to smartphones, but also follows a similar policy in the tablet segment. The Android 14 update was also delivered to many Samsung tablets such as the Galaxy Tab S9 series, Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro 5G, Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, Galaxy Tab S7 FE.

This update distribution strategy demonstrates Samsung's commitment to providing users with the latest technologies in both the smartphone and tablet segments and its support for a wide range of devices. However, the termination of update support for models such as Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41 and Galaxy M01 can also be considered as a reflection of the life cycle of devices in a period where technology is rapidly advancing.
