Samsung introduced the One UI 6.1.1 user interface with its new foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Some of the new features that come with this update are also being added to older phones in the company’s portfolio.
According to posts on Samsung’s South Korean forums, the Auto Zoom feature in FlexCamera will also come to the Galaxy Z Flip 5 with the new interface. Flex Camcorder is also among those to be added to the Z Flip 5. The Instant Slowmo feature, which was introduced with the Galaxy S24 series, will come to the Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Galaxy S23 and Tab S9 series.
The Portrait Studio feature, which enables switching between different portrait effects, will meet users in the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, Galaxy S22, S23, and S24 series, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S9 series.
One UI 6.1.1 will bring Life Effect to models other than the S23 FE
The Sketch to Image feature will also be available on the same models as Portrait Studio. Life Effect will be available on models other than the S23 FE. The Motion Clipper feature, which creates GIF animations from moving images, will be added to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, Galaxy S22, S23 and S24 series, Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S9 series. The Overlay translation feature will also be available on the same models.
The ability to edit DNGs in Galaxy Photo Editor will be available on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, Galaxy S22, S23 and S24 series, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S9 series with One UI 6.1.1.
