Samsung begins distribution of One UI 7 beta version very soon

Samsung is preparing to launch the beta phase for the One UI 7 user interface. According to reliable sources Ice Universe, the beta update, which will start on November 17, will initially be available only to users in the United States and South Korea. Samsung aims to improve the user experience with this update, which has been under development for a long time.

The stable version of One UI 7 is planned to be introduced to users in January 2025 with the introduction of the Galaxy S25 series. The Galaxy S25 series, which will be Samsung’s flagship, will come out of the box with the stable One UI 7 version. While Samsung plans to quickly roll out this update across its Galaxy device range, it has not yet announced an official schedule on this issue. As with previous updates, One UI 7 is thought to be distributed to a wide group of devices.

Among the most notable innovations introduced by Samsung with One UI 7 are improvements to the home screen and lock screen. With the new version, users will have the opportunity to further customize the lock screen and the functionality of the screen will be increased. Samsung also aims to offer a more modern look in the interface by renewing the icons of some system applications. While these icon changes stand out as an aesthetic update, they aim to help users distinguish applications more quickly.

The significant changes made in the notification design are seen as one of the most aesthetically significant innovations of One UI 7. The new notification structure draws attention with its large and rounded corner card design. While this new design makes notifications more visible, it can also cause less information to be displayed on the screen. Users who constantly receive notifications may notice that this new notification structure reduces information density.

Samsung One UI 7 will bring speed and performance improvements

The innovations brought by One UI 7 are not limited to aesthetics; Many improvements are also offered in terms of functionality. One UI 7, which Samsung designed by paying attention to user feedback as in previous versions, draws attention especially with its speed and performance improvements. Improving widget options allows users to organize their devices more easily according to their needs.

It is considered that this update will provide an important experience improvement opportunity for Samsung users, especially considering that the new features are focused on improving device performance.
