The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 dual disc variant with rear disc brakes launched in India. Designed on the single downtube chassis, this sturdy yet stylish motorbike will now steal everyone’s heart with its disc brake setup on the rear. Previously, only the standard Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey and the Redditch Edition variants of Royal Enfield featured the set up of rear disc brakes but now the entire range of Royal Enfield Classic will sport same uniqueness.

Specifications of Royal Enfield Dual Disc Classic 350

All Royal Enfield Classic 350 range is powered by 346cc, single-cylinder, twin spark, 4 strokes coupled with an air-cooled motor producing 20PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm. Other than these, its engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Deriving a swingarm from Royal Enfield Thunderbird, now the Classic 350 lineup will switch from drum brake setup to dual disc brakes on its rear portion of 220 mm. The motorcycle Royal Enfield Classic 350 is supported by telescopic forks on the front while the rear is fitted with twin gas charged shock absorbers. However, the front wheels will remain the same as it was with 280 mm disc.

Although, Royal Enfield is yet to introduce a dual channel ABS across its motorcycle lineup as per the standards set up by the Government of India. Only, August 2018 introduced, Classic 350 Signals lineup is equipped with a dual-channel ABS. As per the regulations set up by the govt of India, any motorbike of 125cc should feature dual-channel ABS or CBS. The so-called regulation will be enforced from April 2019.

Price of Classic 350 with rear disc brakes in India

Now talking about the on road price of newly introduced Royal Enfield dual disc Classic 350 will start from Rs 1.80 lakh, approximately, which will include the insurance and the RTO charges. However, the ex-showroom cost of the same model will come with a 5-year warranty and no reduction for the first year. One can even book Royal Enfield Classic 350 by spending just for Rs 5,000 in advance while rest of the amount can be paid on the delivery of the motorcycle. There is some complimentary Roadside Assistance (RSA) packages offered by a few dealers only for the first year. Royal Enfield, dual disc Classic 350 is available in 4 color variants including black, white, silver and maroon.
