Redmi Turbo 4 will come with a 6550 mAh battery and 5-year warranty

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is preparing to introduce the Redmi Turbo 4 model in China on January 2, 2025. The technical specifications of the device, whose launch date and design have become clear, have also begun to be announced. Newly published images reveal that one of the most striking features of the device is its strong battery structure.

Redmi Turbo 4 will come with a battery with a capacity of 6550 mAh. This battery offers durability of up to 1600 charging cycles and can be used for four years without loss of performance. In addition, the device has a dual-support cold-resistant chip. In this way, it can operate smoothly even at extremely low temperatures such as -35°C. Redmi announced that it will offer a free five-year battery warranty service to those who purchase the device during the first post-launch sales period.

A similar five-year warranty service was offered on the previously released Redmi Note 14 Pro + model. Under this warranty, users are entitled to a free battery replacement when the battery health drops below 80 percent or there is a performance problem. This application provides long-term protection to Redmi Turbo 4 users.

Turbo 4 is also assertive in terms of durability. The device will have an IP69 certificate, which offers high-level protection against dust and water. This certification means that the phone can be used safely even in harsh environmental conditions.

Redmi Turbo 4 will come with Dimensity 8400-Ultra

Redmi will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset in its new device. This powerful processor will be a remarkable option in terms of performance and price balance, considering that the device will be offered with a price tag of approximately 2000 yuan 9695 TL.

Other details about the device include a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Camera features will consist of a 20 megapixel front camera and a 50 megapixel + 8 megapixel dual rear camera system with optical image stabilization (OIS). Turbo 4 will be offered to users with up to 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage options.
