Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Turbo 4 model. The device stands out as the first phone to use the Dimensity 8400 chipset, which MediaTek recently announced. However, Xiaomi optimized this processor and customized it under the name “Dimensity 8400-Ultra”. Redmi’s new smartphone also combines the 6550 mAh capacity silicon-carbon battery found in the Redmi K80 with 90W wired charging support.
A 6.76-inch LTPS OLED screen welcomes users on Redmi Turbo 4. This panel, with 1220p resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, stands out with its 3,200 nits peak brightness. Gorilla Glass 7i protection increases the durability of the screen. On the front, there is a 20 MP resolution camera (OV20B sensor) with a perforated design. The device also has an under-screen optical fingerprint reader.
The back of the device offers an elegant appearance with a dual-tone glass design. In the camera module, there is a 50 MP main camera with a 1/1.95 inch Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilizer (OIS) support. The second camera appears as an 8 MP ultra wide-angle lens.
Redmi Turbo 4 comes out of the box with Android 15 based Xiaomi HyperOS 2 software. Combining software performance with hardware, the device provides high-level protection against dust and water thanks to its IP66/68/69 certifications. In addition, the device includes additional features such as an infrared port.
How much should you pay for Redmi Turbo 4?
Redmi Turbo 4 comes in black, white and sea blue color options. The model of the device, which is offered for sale in China, with 12 GB RAM and 25 6GB storage capacity, carries a price tag of 1999 yuan (9674 TL). The top model, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage option, is on sale for 2499 yuan (12093 TL).
The device is expected to be available in global markets as Poco X7 Pro as of January 9.
