Redmi K90 Pro Max will be available to users with its large battery capacity and advanced camera.

Redmi will introduce its new flagship model called K90 Pro Max on October 23. Both the design and hardware features of the device were shared before the event. While the innovations especially on the battery, processor and camera side attract attention, the performance-oriented structure of the device is clearly revealed. It seems that Redmi is seeking to combine different user needs in a single structure with this model.

The 7,560 mAh capacity battery included in the device is one of the highest used by Redmi to date. This battery stands out not only with its capacity but also with the charging options it supports. 100W wired charging support, 50W wireless charging and 22.5W reverse charging offer the user flexibility in various scenarios. In addition to all this, the fact that it can work at full performance with PPS compatible 100W chargers shows that the device is assertive in energy management. This level of battery hardware manages to give confidence, especially in long-term use.

Redmi K90 Pro Max will carry Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor

On the processor side, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, one of Qualcomm’s newest and most powerful solutions, was preferred. In addition, Redmi has also included a special chip called D2, which it calls “AI independent imaging chip”, alongside this processor. This dual structure promises improvements not only in performance but also in visual processing. In terms of heating and thermal efficiency, it is noteworthy that Xiaomi’s largest ever steam chamber system is used. The aim is to keep the device stable even in tasks requiring high processing power.

On the screen side, it seems that the K90 Pro Max maintains its claim. The 6.9-inch OLED panel on the device has a full RGB sub-pixel layout. In addition, the fact that the screen offers DC dimming support throughout the brightness range stands out as a positive detail for protecting eye health. The screen aims to provide a comfortable experience in low light conditions with its brightness that can be reduced to a minimum of 1 nits and its circular polarizer. A screen structure that meets expectations in terms of visual clarity and contrast is presented.

Updates to the camera system increase the versatility of the device. A large sensor of 1/1.31 inch was used in the main camera, which was previously seen in the Xiaomi 17 model. This structure ensures clear results even in low light conditions. In addition, there is an ultra wide-angle camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels. The most striking innovation is that Redmi included a periscope telephoto camera for the first time.

The periscope camera is supported with 5x optical, 10x lossless zoom support and optical image stabilizer. Thus, even distant objects can be viewed with high clarity. This camera combination offers a wide range of possibilities not only for daily use, but also for users who want to get more professional shots. In addition, with the introduction of the device’s artificial intelligence-supported image processing systems, more successful results are achieved in scene recognition and light settings. With all these improvements, the photography experience becomes more consistent.

In addition to the hardware features, the design of the device is also full of remarkable details. The matte-coated back surface offers an aesthetically simple appearance and helps reduce fingerprint marks. Keeping the screen frames symmetrical and thin completes the visual integrity. The positioning of the camera module has also been considered to provide a balanced usage experience. The overall design ensures that the device is both functional and stylish.

On the software side, the new version of MIUI is expected to come with this model. This version is expected to offer increased interface performance, battery optimization and speed in application switching. In addition, improving artificial intelligence-supported recommendation systems and camera software is also on the agenda. With these software supports, the device’s hardware can be used more efficiently. It is clear that user experience depends not only on technical power but also on software compatibility.

It has not yet been officially announced in which markets the Redmi K90 Pro Max will be available. However, if we remember that similar models have found a place in the global market with different brand names in the past, it seems likely that this model will follow a similar path. It is expected that clear information will be given at the launch on October 23 about when and under what name the global version will be released.
