Redmi K90 Max showed its power before taking the stage

The Redmi K90 Max model, which Redmi plans to introduce with the K Pad 2 this month, has started to come to the fore with performance tests. The device, which has not yet been officially announced, appeared in the Geekbench database and gave the first concrete signs confirming its upper segment position on both the processor and hardware side. The listing shows that the device is based on a prototype used in the development phase.

According to Geekbench 6.6 results, Redmi K90 Max achieved 3,513 points in the single-core test and 10,711 points in the multi-core test. These scores clearly show that the device directly appeals to the flagship class. The fact that the model number in the test is 2604FRK1EC also coincides with the information in previous leaks.

At the heart of the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor, which is positioned as the new generation. In the tested prototype, this chipset is accompanied by 16 GB of RAM. It seems likely that different memory options will be offered when the final product goes on sale. However, on the software side, it is stated that Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface will be included on the Android 16 operating system. This combination aims to deliver an up-to-date experience in terms of both performance and system optimization.

Another standout aspect of the Redmi K90 Max is the cooling system. It is stated that the active fan solution that will be included in the device is one of the largest fans ever used among smartphones. It is claimed that this system can reduce the internal temperature of the device by up to 10 degrees in just 100 seconds. For mobile games and applications that require intensive processing power, such a solution can be directly effective in terms of sustainability of performance.

Redmi K90 Max stands out with its screen and battery features

According to leaks, the device will come with a 6.83-inch OLED screen. This panel, which will offer 1.5K resolution, is expected to have a 165 Hz refresh rate. These values promise a performance above its segment, especially in terms of gaming and smooth user experience. In addition, the effect of high refresh rate on energy consumption is among the factors that should be taken into consideration.

On the battery side, a very high capacity of 8,500 mAh attracts attention. In addition, it is stated that 100W wired fast charging support will be offered. This combination can significantly shorten charging times while providing a long-lasting experience even under heavy use. However, it is not yet clear how a battery of this size will be reflected in the weight and thickness of the device.

Despite this, the device seems to be assertive in terms of durability. Despite the active fan system, it is stated that Redmi K90 Max will have IP66, IP68 and IP69 certifications. This shows that the device will offer a high level of protection against both dust and water. Providing this level of durability in a structure with fans stands out as a remarkable detail in terms of engineering.

In light of all this information, Redmi K90 Max is positioned as a model targeting performance-oriented users. While its powerful processor, high refresh rate screen and assertive cooling system are among the strengths of the device, the impact of battery size and fan structure on daily use can only be understood more clearly in real usage scenarios.
