Realme has launched its latest P-series phone, the Realme P2 Pro, in India. The device features a curved OLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, and a 50MP main camera with Sony’s LYT-600 sensor.
Along with this, Realme Pad 2 Lite, an affordable Android tablet, was also announced. This tablet comes with a 10.95-inch LCD display, Helio G99 chipset, and 8300mAh battery.
Realme P2 Pro: Attracts attention with high-end features
Realme P2 Pro is built around a 6.7-inch curved OLED display. The display has FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, this panel offers 2,000 nits peak brightness and houses a 32MP front camera.
The phone was released in two different colors, “Parrot Green” and “Eagle Grey”, and features a BioVision design. This design creates various visual effects when exposed to light. The device is water and dust resistant thanks to the IP65 certification, and also has a shock-absorbing mid-frame to protect against impacts.
On the camera side, the Realme P2 Pro draws attention with its 50MP main camera, using Sony’s 1/1.95-inch LYT-600 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS) technology. The main camera is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 16mm equivalent focal length. The other two sections in the camera module are reserved for the LED flash and a decorative label.
The Realme P2 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The device offers 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of storage. Additionally, a 4,500mm² vapor chamber cooling system improves the thermal performance of the device.
On the software side, the device comes with Realme UI 5.0 interface based on Android 14. Realme promises two major Android version updates and three years of security updates.
The device comes with a 5200mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. This technology can charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent in 19 minutes.
The Realme P2 Pro 8/128GB version will be priced at Rs 21,999 ($8,901), while the 12/256GB version will be priced at Rs 24,999 ($10,115). The top-of-the-line 12/512GB version will be priced at Rs 27,999 ($11,329). Pre-sales will begin on September 17 on Realme’s online store and through its partners.
Realme Pad 2 Lite: Affordable tablet option
Realme Pad 2 Lite is a budget-friendly tablet that runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. The tablet features a 10.95-inch FHD+ resolution IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device features quad speakers with OReality audio support and a dual-tone rear design with a vegan leather finish.
The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and offers 4/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The storage capacity can be expanded with microSD card support. There is an 8MP main camera on the back and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The phone comes with an 8300 mAh battery and 15W charging support.
Realme Pad 2 Lite will be available in “Space Gray” and “Nebula Purple” color options. The 4/128 GB version will be priced at Rs 14,999 (6,069 TL), and the 8/128 GB version will be priced at Rs 16,999 (6,878 TL). The first sale date will be announced soon.
