Realme GT 7 Pro may come with Camera Control button like iPhone 16

Realme recently launched the Realme 13 Pro series in India and China. It also introduced various models in India, including the Realme 13, Realme 13+, and Narzo 70 Turbo 5G. A new mid-range device called the Realme P2 Pro will be launched in the Indian market this week. In addition, rumors have started circulating that the brand is working on its next-generation flagship phone, the Realme GT 7 Pro. Realme’s Global Marketing President and Vice President Xu Qi Chase’s social media posts have revealed important details about this new flagship device.

Apple introduced the iPhone 16 series the other day, and one of the biggest changes to the series was the addition of a new Camera Control button. This solid-state, pressure-sensitive button can autofocus with a light touch, and take a photo with a harder press. It also zooms in or out by swiping left or right.

Last month, it was reported that Oppo’s upcoming Find X8 series could also feature a similar pressure-sensitive button. In a recent social media post, Xu Qi suggested that the company’s next phone will also feature a similar solid-state button. It is said that this button will be similar to the Camera Control button found on the new iPhones. Although the device’s name was not directly mentioned, it is likely that the feature will be added to Realme’s next flagship phone, the GT 7 Pro.

Realme GT 7 Pro may be introduced earlier than expected

Another post by Xu Qi on Weibo gave hints about when the GT 7 Pro will be released. Recalling that the GT 5 Pro was announced in December 2023, he hinted that the GT 7 Pro will be introduced earlier than that. This suggests that the device could be released in China in November.

In a previous X (formerly Twitter) post by Xu Qi, it was confirmed that the Realme GT 7 Pro will also be launched in India later this year. Considering the expected launch in the Chinese market in November, it seems likely that the GT 7 Pro will be launched in global markets in December. Realme is also reportedly planning to launch the GT 7 Pro as the world’s first phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.

Realme is expected to make a strong debut against its competitors with its new flagship model. It is thought that the device equipped with these new features will find an important place for itself in the upper segment. In particular, the convenience provided by the camera control features in photo and video shooting can offer a great advantage for users. The launch of the GT 7 Pro in November will allow more details about this highly anticipated device to come to light.
