Realme is working on a new smartphone that will be a continuation of the C61 model last year. The model is called Realme C71 and the first information appeared in the Geekbench database. Listed with the RMX5303 model number, the device showed itself with some of the hardware features that attracted attention in the performance test. The technical infrastructure of the device and the details on the software side gradually became clear.
In the heart of Realme C71, the T7250 processor by UNISOC is located. This chipset previously known as T615 offers only 4G connection support. This clearly demonstrates that the phone will stay away from new generation connection technologies. Nevertheless, the fact that 5G is not presented in the C61 model causes this preference not to be a surprise.
Realme C71, which is seen in the Geekbench test, works with Android 15 operating system
The C71 comes with 6 GB of RAM according to the test results and works with the Android 15 operating system. This configuration aims to keep the device’s software experience up -to -date by supporting the Realme UI user interface. Although the RAM capacity is at the same level as its predecessor, it is a positive development in terms of user experience. The fact that Android 15 has not yet become officially widespread, is a remarkable detail for the device in this segment.
Realme C71 was not only in performance tests, but also on the Sirım certification lists in Malaysia. This reveals that the process of launching the device is approaching. The certificate shows that the device is in the process of obtaining the necessary permissions for sale with the model number. SIRIM documents represent a critical step in the legally launching the device to the market.
Another previous document about the C71 has revealed that the device will have 45W wired fast charging support. This power level is rarely seen, especially in the models in the input segment. While more affordable devices are usually offered rapid charging at 18W or 33W levels, the C71 will be ambitious in this area. Although the battery capacity is not yet known, fast charging support can provide an advantage that can increase the comfort of the device.
Other technical details of Realme C71 remain uncertain for now. There is no clear information about screen size, panel type, camera resolution or storage options. However, considering that the previous model, the C61, 6.5 -inch HD+ display and 50 MP main camera, can be expected to be similar to the C71. This similarity suggests that the device can be a small renewal.
Given the C71’s hardware and software details, it can be said that this model will be a device that offers small but remarkable innovations that will replace the C61. However, the limited processor is limited to 4G may limit the expectations of users who will prefer this phone. On the other hand, current features such as Android 15 and 45W charging support can balance this limitation to some extent. In this context, Realme continues to offer access to current technologies at affordable prices to the user.
At a time when the competition in the entrance segment is quite high, it is also an important issue how the Realme C71 is priced. The C61 model addressed a wide audience with an affordable price-performance ratio. If it is presented at a similar price level, it seems possible to meet the C71 with interest by the same user audience. In addition, Realme is thought to focus on this device, especially on developing markets.
