Qualcomm officially announced its newest mobile chipset called Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. This chipset, which can be described as the next step in the evolution of Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, shares its main Cortex-X4 core and on-device productive artificial intelligence features with the flagship Snapdragon 8 series.

Qualcomm's new chip promises 15 percent better CPU performance. It is stated that the Adreno GPU runs 45 percent faster than its predecessor. It is stated that there is a 5 percent decrease in power consumption.

For the first time in the Snapdragon 7 series, it is possible to find on-device productive artificial intelligence capabilities in a chip. Multiple wide language models and wide view models are supported by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. These include Baichuan-7B, Llama 2, Gemini Nano and Zhipu ChatGLM.
