Prices of Tecno’s new foldable phones revealed

The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 5G and V Flip 2 5G were available for pre-order in Ghana from August 19 to August 24. Although the pre-order period has closed, there has been no official announcement from Tecno regarding the launch date of the foldable phones. A new leak reveals the Ghana prices of both foldable phones.

According to this leak, the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version of the Phantom V Flip 2 will cost 9800 Ghana cedi (21445 TL). The 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage version of the Phantom V Fold 2 will cost 16550 Ghana cedi (36215 TL).

These prices show that Tecno positions its foldables as more affordable alternatives to mainstream brands. For example, in Turkey, the Galaxy Z Fold is sold at prices starting at 90,000 TL. The Z Flip 6’s starting price is 59,000 TL. Although the taxes applied in Turkey also play a role in these prices, from a global perspective, Tecno’s foldable phones are sold at more affordable prices than their counterparts.

There is no official share yet about the features of the Phantom V Fold 2 and V Flip 2. However, thanks to the leaked certificates, it was possible to see some features of the Phantom V Fold 2.
