Poco made a surprise announcement with its new smartphones F6 and F6 Pro and unveiled its first tablet called Poco Pad. It should be noted that Poco Pad, a product focused on both business and entertainment, is not a completely new device. The tablet has many similarities with the Redmi Pad Pro.
One of the most striking aspects of Poco Pad is its 12.1-inch LCD screen. This screen, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, offers 2.5K resolution and has 12-bit color support. The maximum brightness level of the screen is 600 nits.
Poco has chosen a 16:10 aspect ratio on its tablet, which it states is designed for both entertainment and business. Poco Pad, which has four speakers with Dolby Atmos support, also offers Dolby Vision support for higher image quality.
The battery with a capacity of 10000 mAh gives the tablet the energy it needs. It is stated that it will be possible to watch video uninterruptedly for 16 hours. Thanks to 33W charging support, it is stated that a 15-minute charge will be enough to listen to music for 26 hours.
At the heart of the Poco Pad is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. This processor is accompanied by 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. An additional 1.5 TB can be added to the storage area with microSD card support.
Poco Pad comes with HyperOS which offers some great features along with yet another HyperOS phone. For example, you can mirror your phone's screen on the tablet. This feature allows you to drag and drop things (text, files, images) between the tablet and the phone, but you can also use the shared clipboard for this. Another nice thing is that the tablet can connect to your phone with a quick tap.
How much should you pay for Poco Pad?
The 7.52 mm thick tablet weighs 571 grams on the scales. Color options are listed as gray and blue. Accessories such as Poco Pad Cover, Pad Keyboard and Smart Pen are also offered for the tablet.
Poco Pad will be available for $299 for a while. Later, this price will increase to $ 329.
