POCO F8 Pro comes without Bose-powered sound system and charger

Leaks about POCO F8 Pro continue to emerge. The fact that some information was reflected in the certification documents before the official introduction brought the expectations forward. F7 Pro and F7 Ultra models were introduced in March last year. It is said that the F8 series may meet users earlier this year.

The new images revealed a part of the box of the POCO F8 Pro. The most striking detail in the visual was the presence of the sound system supported by Bose. This detail shows that POCO aims to raise the bar in sound quality one level higher. Voice experience continues to have a direct impact on users’ preferences. At this point, comments are made that POCO is focused on experience, not just hardware. Accordingly, the segment in which the brand will position the device is starting to become clear.

POCO F8 Pro will come with a Bose-supported sound system

During this process, it became clear that the Bose sound system was not exclusive to POCO. It seems that the same sound technology is used in the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max models. This similarity suggests that the POCO F8 Pro is likely to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90. Although this is not the first time this situation has occurred, it is still carefully followed by users. It is known that POCO has taken similar steps before. In addition to all this, it is said that the F8 Ultra model may have the same foundations as the Redmi K90 Pro Max.

Remembering past examples, POCO’s tendency to re-introduce Redmi models for different markets is frequently encountered. This method both speeds up the development process and increases the diversity of models adaptable to global markets. As a result of this approach, POCO F8 Pro may attempt to present a known model to the user with a new identity. However, it is still unclear whether the technical details of the device will be preserved exactly. Still, considering the existing similarities and sound system detail, a strong parallel stands out.

Another claim made about POCO F8 Pro was about the box contents. According to some sources, a charger may not be included in the box of the device. It is not yet known in which markets this application will be valid. Despite everything, it is claimed that this strategy can be adopted in regions such as Europe, where environmental regulations are more decisive. Xiaomi and POCO had previously made similar decisions on some models. Such preferences that affect user experience can sometimes cause controversy.

In addition to all this, the fact that there is no charger in the box is evaluated in terms of hardware costs and environmental factors. Behind this choice is not only sustainability, but also transportation and packaging optimization. However, this may lead to different reactions on the consumer side. This deficiency is felt more especially in models that support high-speed charging technology. Some users state that purchasing the charger separately increases the total cost. Therefore, this preference may not be met in the same way in every market.
