Performance testing of Redmi K80 Pro confirms the presence of Snapdragon 8 Elite

Xiaomi is expected to introduce the Redmi K80 series in China soon. Leaked information revealed that the Redmi K80 Pro model of the series will be quite powerful and will be equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Today, the first concrete evidence of the device’s performance came with Geekbench tests.

K80 Pro received 2753 points in single-core performance and 8460 points in multi-core performance on the Geekbench platform. These results appear to be largely in line with the performance of other Snapdragon 8 Elite processor-powered devices.

The device was spotted on Geekbench with model number 24122RKC7C. According to the test results; K80 Pro will come out of the box with Android 15 operating system. In addition, it seems that the 16 GB RAM option will be offered to users once again. On the processor side, Qualcomm’s new generation Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset has been confirmed. This processor; It consists of 2 Oryon V2 Phoenix L cores at 4.32 GHz and 6 Oryon V2 Phoenix M cores at 3.53 GHz.

Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will come with 120 Hz displays

Both K80 and K80 Pro models are expected to come with 6.67-inch screens with 120 Hz refresh rate. It is also reported that the devices will be water and dust resistant with IP68 certification. Leaks indicate that the series may also support wireless charging. However, no official statement has been made on this matter yet.

Xiaomi is expected to share more details about the Redmi K80 series in the coming weeks. It is already clear that the Redmi K80 Pro will be a flagship-level option with its powerful hardware and high-end features.
