Oppo Find N6 leaked: It may be the first foldable phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite processor

New information has come to light about Find N6, which is expected to be added to Oppo’s foldable phone series. Although it has not yet been confirmed by the company, the leaked details show that the device carries serious claims on the hardware side. Oppo Find N6, which is likely to be introduced in the first quarter of 2026, has an upgraded profile in many aspects. Especially the fact that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite processor will be included in this phone for the first time has already attracted the attention of performance-oriented users.

On the design side, it is stated that Find N6 will come with larger screens. While the outer screen of the device is 6.6 inches in size, there will be an 8.1-inch foldable panel on the inside. This expansion seems to make a difference in media consumption while offering a more efficient experience in multitasking. Despite all this increase in size, the device is aimed to be presented in a thinner and lighter form. At this point, the changes made by Oppo in material selection may play an important role. This new approach may be decisive for users looking for a more compact structure.

Oppo Find N6 will be more durable with a larger battery

One of the striking elements of Find N6 is its battery capacity. According to leaks, the device will use a battery exceeding 6,000 mAh. This capacity is above the norm among foldable phones. When combined with performance-oriented hardware, the expectation of long-term use comes with it. Additionally, it is among the information received that Oppo has taken new steps in energy efficiency. In particular, the ability to dynamically adjust the screen refresh rate can directly affect this efficiency.

On the camera side, it seems that Find N6 offers a serious innovation. Sony LYT-808 sensor with 50 megapixel resolution is preferred as the main camera. This 1/1.4 inch sensor can capture more successful frames, especially in low-light environments. In addition to the main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle camera, a periscope lens offering 3x optical zoom and a multispectral sensor system complete the camera array. This structure provides flexibility to the user in different shooting scenarios and also diversifies the camera experience. Thus, it may be possible to get close to professional level results in daily use.

Up-to-dateness was also prioritized on the software side of the device. Find N6, which will come with the Android 16 operating system, will run Oppo’s customized interface ColorOS 16 on it. Both software components focus on simplifying and accelerating the user experience. New optimizations made in the interface aim to offer an integrated use with a foldable structure. Application transitions, multi-window usage and in-screen touch responses can work more stable with this system. The compatibility of software with hardware will be one of the determining factors in terms of performance.

Oppo also takes security and usage habits into consideration in Find N6. The fingerprint reader is positioned on the side of the device. This design choice offers an experience suitable for both right and left hand use. In addition, thanks to wireless charging support, a more flexible structure is adopted in charging. However, one of the most striking details is the water resistance of the device. Although a clear IP rating has not been announced, it is expected to offer protection similar to the IPX8/9 level on the Find N5.

On the material side, Oppo is claimed to have taken a different approach. In previous leaks, it was suggested that Find N6 would have a titanium body. This choice can increase the durability of the device while also reducing its weight. In other words, the aim is to have a case that is both durable and light. Considering that foldable phones are more sensitive to impacts, this choice may be quite appropriate. Moreover, this material can provide natural resistance to heating problems of the device.

In addition to Find N6, it is rumored that Oppo may return to the clamshell model category, which it has been silent for a long time. After the Find N3 Flip introduced in 2023, no new model was offered in this segment. Despite this, there are claims that a new flip phone named Find N6 Flip may be introduced in 2026. So far, no official statement or technical details have been shared about the Flip model. But it seems unlikely that Oppo will leave this segment completely empty.
