With only a few days left until 2025, Oppo is preparing to welcome the new year with a fast start. Planning to launch the Reno 13 series globally, the company will introduce a series of devices such as Oppo Find N5, Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Mini in the Chinese market. One of the most striking among these devices is Find N5, Oppo’s new model in its foldable phone series.
A leak on Weibo revealed the remarkable screen features of Oppo Find N5. The external screen of the device will be 6.4 inches in size and have a 120Hz refresh rate. When folded, users will have access to a main screen that is 8 inches in size and offers 2K resolution. These features will provide an ideal experience for a wide range of uses, from gaming to watching videos and multitasking.
On the performance side, Find N5 is expected to come with Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, Snapdragon 8 Elite. This processor will provide high-level performance in both daily use and intensive graphics operations. The device will meet its energy needs from a battery with a capacity of 5700 mAh. In addition, it will be possible to charge it in a short time with 80W fast charging support. On the wireless charging side, it is claimed that 50W support will be offered. This feature stands out as an innovation not found in its predecessor, Find N3.
Oppo Find N5 also looks assertive on the camera side. According to leaks, there will be a triple camera setup with 50MP resolution on the back of the device. This system will consist of the main camera, ultra wide angle and telephoto lenses. There will be a selfie camera on the right side of the inner screen, but the features of this camera are not yet clear.
The storage options of the device also attract attention. It is stated that users will be offered up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage capacity. This diversity aims to address different user needs.
Oppo Find N5 will be launched to the world with a different name
Oppo Find N5 is expected to be introduced in February 2025, after Chinese New Year. In the global market, it is stated that the device will be rebranded as OnePlus Open 2 and will be released in the first half of 2025.
Finally, images claimed to belong to OnePlus Open 2 were also shared online. The design appears to be largely the same as its predecessor, but some changes have been made to the camera placement. This shows that Oppo and OnePlus are continuing their strategy of maintaining the features appreciated by users while preserving the existing design language.
