OnePlus Watch, OnePlus’ first smart watch using its own proprietary operating system, was introduced three years ago. The company, which almost returned to the beginning with its new smart watch, unveiled the OnePlus Watch 2 model, which brings significant changes.
Based on “Dual Engine Architecture”, the smart watch has two processors and two operating systems. One of them is the Snapdragon W5 running Wear OS. This means you have full access to the app store. The other processor is BES2700, which runs a low-power real-time operating system (RTOS).
In Smart Mode, it is possible to run applications such as Google Maps, Assistant, Wallet, Calendar, Keep, Gmail. 20 built-in dial options, 80 of which are downloadable, await users on OnePlus Watch 2. In this mode, the 500mAh battery lasts up to 100 hours in normal use and 48 hours in intensive use.
Power Saving Mode only runs RTOS but still offers a lot of functionality. These include sleep and heart rate tracking, and sports features such as swimming and cycling. With this mode, it is also possible to make or answer incoming calls. When Power Saving is enabled, the watch can work for up to 12 days without needing a charge.
With the 7.5W VOCC fast charging adapter, it is possible to fully charge the battery in just 1 hour. Just a 10-minute charge is enough to last a day with Smart Mode.
OnePlus Watch 2 has a stainless steel case with dimensions of 47.0 x 46.6 x 12.1 mm. When the rubber strap is added to this case, which weighs 49 grams, the weight increases to 80 grams.

The smart watch has a 1.43 inch AMOLED screen. This screen is protected by 2.5D sapphire glass. The 60 Hz screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels reaches a brightness of 1000 nits in High Brightness Mode, so it can be easily seen under the sun. OnePlus Watch 2, which works under water up to 5 ATM pressure, also has the MIL-STD-810H military durability certificate.
OnePlus Watch 2 comes with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. The smart watch, which is available for pre-order, will be on the shelves as of March 4. For Watch 2, you have to pay 300 dollars in the USA and 300 euros in Europe.
