OnePlus 6T – Expected Price, Specs & Features You Need to Know

Here's what you can expect out of the upcoming OnePlus 6T smartphone

Waiting for the launch of OnePlus 6T this Diwali? Why not when we’ve already known how futuristic and cutting-edge smartphone it will be. While we are already aware of the fantastic features leaked previously, here what you need to know about OnePlus 6T that makes it different from others. All these features have been confirmed by the company to CNET and are not a leaked or an expected spec information.

Firstly, it has the fingerprint sensor embedded below the screen. This is a unique feature currently present in just four smartphones two of them of Vivo and two of the Oppo. Probably iPhones and Samsung phones with this feature will release in 2019. A tagline saying “Unlock the Speed” is likely to be in place for marketing this feature.

Next, OnePlus 6T compared to OnePlus six is thick by 0.45mm to lodge the in-display sensor.

Another feature about its camera, though not confirmed but more likely to be, OnePlus 6T has three rear cameras. The two being the regular phones and the other using a camera hardware or sensor that will be able to create 3D images or augmented reality. It will be the first phone to have this feature in hand.

The phone has a tiny waterdrop notch. Similar to the old version OnePlus 6, the new one will also have dash charging, face unlock feature, and portrait mode supporting camera.

Other Important OnePlus 6T specs

Talking about the looks and its design, it is pretty similar to OnePlus 6; at least in terms of pattern. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It is most likely to have 3.5mm headphone jack and has a Metal and glass body. It will operate on the latest Android version, OxygenOS based on Android 9 Pie.

Launch date of OnePlus 6T in India and price

Though not officially confirmed, the phone may release in October; seems like the 17th of October. It would be available in all One Plus stores and Amazon. The price is likely to be INR 34,999 or 37,999 in India; slightly higher than its well-performing sibling OnePlus 6.
