Nubia Z60S Pro and Z60 Ultra Leading Version officially revealed

Nubia, under the roof of ZTE, has introduced its new smartphones called Z60S Pro and Z60 Ultra Leading Version. While the Z60 Ultra offers an accelerated Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and new color options, the Z60S Pro has a slightly larger camera sensor and AI camera features. Both devices welcome users with Nubia’s new artificial intelligence services.

The most important change in the Z60 Ultra Leading Version is the accelerated Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The main core is a 3.4 GHz Cortex-X4, while an accelerated 1 GHz GPU is also present in this chip. Nubia emphasizes that thanks to this accelerated processor, the Z60 Ultra can perform artificial intelligence tasks on the device without any problems.

The smartphone has a 6.8-inch Full HD + resolution 120 Hz AMOLED display. A 12-megapixel front camera is also placed inside this display. The front camera comes with an improved algorithm for clearer photos.

The AI improvements carry over to the cameras with the NeoVision AI Photo System 2.0. Nubia uses similar hardware to the regular Z60 Ultra, but the 35mm main camera features a new Sony 9-series sensor. The 18mm ultra-wide lens has a wider aperture, but the resolution remains the same at 50MP. The 64MP periscope (85mm) camera comes with extra AI telephoto capabilities.

On the software side, Nubia’s MyOS 14 user interface complements Android 14. The phone gets the energy it needs from a 6000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.

The Z60 Ultra Leading Version is available in black and silver. The phone is available for pre-order in Europe starting at 729 euros and will be available to users on August 12.

Nubia Z60S Pro

The Nubia Z60S Pro follows the Z50S Pro model that was released last year. These two smartphones share largely the same features, with only some changes to the main camera standing out.

In the Z60S Pro, artificial intelligence features such as the Magic Eraser, starry sky algorithm, and screen features such as 65:24 cinema format await users.

There is no change in the 8-megapixel telephoto and 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle phone camera. The RAM options accompanying the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 2 at the heart of the smartphone extend up to 16 GB. The largest option for storage capacity is 1 TB. The phone comes with 80W charging and a 5100 mAh battery.

The Nubia Z60S Pro is available in three color options: black, white and “Aqua.” The smartphone is available for pre-order in Europe starting at 669 euros.
