Nubia Flip 2, the new member of ZTE’s foldable phone series, was seen on China’s TENAA certification lists with the model number NX732J. This development provides important information about the technical features and design of the device.
Flip 2 draws attention with its significant design changes compared to its predecessor. Instead of the round outer screen of the previous model, a rectangular AMOLED cover screen with a size of 3 inches and a resolution of 422 × 682 pixels was preferred. A 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP auxiliary sensor are positioned on both sides of this screen. There is a round LED flash under the cameras.
The main screen of the device consists of an AMOLED panel with a size of 6.85 inches and a resolution of 1,188 × 2,970 pixels. At the top of the screen, a 32 MP resolution front camera is positioned in the screen hole. This placement allows the screen to offer a wider usage area.
According to TENAA data, the open dimensions of Nubia Flip 2 are stated as 169.4 × 76 × 7.2 mm. These dimensions are similar to the first generation Nubia Flip. However, the new model is 21 grams lighter than its predecessor, weighing 193 grams. This weight reduction increases the portability of the device.
Although there is no official information about the processor of the device, it is stated that it will be offered with 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options and will have a battery with a capacity of 4,225 mAh. This battery capacity promises sufficient performance for daily use.
There is no official statement for the Nubia Flip 2 launch.
The appearance of Nubia Flip 2 in TENAA certification indicates that the device is preparing for launch. However, the official launch date and pricing information have not been announced yet. It is eagerly awaited to see what position ZTE will take in the foldable phone market with this new model.
The foldable phone segment has gained an important place in the technology world in recent years. ZTE’s increased competition in this field with Nubia Flip 2 seems to offer consumers more options. After the official introduction of the device, it will be possible to obtain more detailed information about user experiences and performance.
