Nothing Phone (3) passed testing, processor verified

Nothing, which has not introduced a new flagship in 2024, is now on the agenda with the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (3) model. The company’s new smartphone was displayed on the Geekbench platform used for performance tests. This leak provides important information about the technical features of the device.

Phone (3) is listed on GeekBench with model number A059. The device appears to be equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and 8 GB RAM. The device received 1,149 points in the single-core test and 2,813 points in the multi-core test. On the operating system side, it has been confirmed that it will come with Android 15. It is thought that this will be offered with a customization based on NothingOS 3.0.

These details show that Nothing Phone (3) is moving towards the middle segment compared to its predecessor Phone (2). While Phone (2) offers strong performance with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 seems to be preferred in Phone (3). However, this also raises the possibility that there may be more than one model in the series.

Two different Nothing model numbers, A059 and A059P, appeared in the IMEI database. According to experts, the A059P model may be the Pro version of Phone (3). In the Pro model, MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor is expected to be used. It is also stated that the standard model will offer a 6.5-inch screen, while the Pro model will come with a 6.7-inch screen.

It is estimated that both models will come with the transparent back cover and LED light system, which have become Nothing’s signature in terms of design. In addition, it is claimed that a special button called “Action Button” will be included on the device.

Arrows point to 2025 for Nothing Phone (3) launch

No official statement has been made yet about the launch date of Nothing Phone (3). However, leaks indicate that the device may be postponed to 2025. This may mean that Nothing wants to prepare the Phone (3) series more comprehensively.

As a result, Nothing Phone (3) can appeal to a wide range of users with its mid-segment features. The Pro version seems to offer an alternative for those looking for higher performance. More details about the phone are expected to emerge as we get closer to the launch.
