Last month, HMD unveiled in China Nokia smartphones belonging to the X range. Nokia 6.1 Plus and Android One
The Nokia X6 sold like hotcakes after their launch in China. This mid-range smartphone displays features in tune with the times with a price pulled to the maximum, found on the Nokia 6.1 Plus. The latter is equipped with a Snapdragon 636 processor coupled to 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, a 3060 mAh battery, a dual photo module (16 and 5 MP) and a 16-MP front camera. Working with Android 8.1, it is distinguished by a 5.8-inch Full HD + screen, in 19: 9 with the notch, a first at Nokia. Its little “plus” is its system based on Android One, which has a regular monitoring of software updates and security, like the Nokia 7 Plus.
Expected July 24 for the first release in Hong Kong, Nokia 6.1 Plus will be marketed 2,288 HKD, the equivalent of ₹ 20,050. We imagine that it will probably be available in India in September.
The Nokia X5 outside of China?
HMD also formalized a Nokia X5 at its event in China. This is a more entry-level model with a screen (5.86 inches HD +) also part of the notch. This smartphone integrates a MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and a double photo module (13 + 5 MP) with an artificial intelligence to boost the quality of the shots. It is sold between 999 yuan and 1399 yuan. For this model, no certainty about commercialization in India. But we would not be surprised to see a Nokia 5.1 Plus arrive in the coming weeks.
