HMD Global is all set to launch an event on 11th October in New Delhi. We expect it to launch the Nokia 7.1 Plus in this event. There have been many leaks around before about the launch. The most recent update spots the live images on TENAA. As the norm follows, the Nokia 7.1 Plus would be the global smartphone. However, the Chinese variant will be named as Nokia X7. Now, HMD Global has teased the Nokia 7.1 Plus for the even. The Nokia 7.1 Plus may feature a large display and come with a bigger battery. It announced the Nokia X7 phone which will launch soon after October 16 in China.
Nokia 7.1 Plus Launch
The new teaser is present on the Nokia Mobile India handle which talks about its large screen. It mentions that the full picture would be out soon. The hashtags like #MegaLife and #GoBigGoBetter were presented along. They clearly suggest that the Nokia 7.1 Plus will have a large display. Besides, the new TENAA listing mentions that Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to have a 6.18-inch full-HD+ TFT display. It will have a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9.
The video teasing the new smartphone also reads ‘Play more and pause no more.’ This clearly hints the amazing battery life it will have along with the powerful processor for gameplay. The teaser also shows the rear side of the device has two cameras placed vertically, just like the Nokia 7.1 that was announced last week. Another teaser video mentions ‘Power to keep you charged from dawn to dusk,’ which again hints at the battery life.
Nokia X7 launch
HMD Global has separately mentioned to Weibo that the Chinese variant Nokia X7 will come up on October 16 in Beijing at an event. This would be after some days post the global variant Nokia 7.1 Plus is announced in India. The company mentions that the new phone will feature two ZEISS optic lenses at the rear. It has also shared images captured from the new phone proving low-light photo qualities.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to feature a display notch. It will have a substantial chin at the bottom, aligned vertically to the dual rear cameras. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as the Android One branding.
