New features in multitasking and privacy come with Huawei EMUI 15

Huawei opened the doors to a new era on the software side by introducing the EMUI 15 operating system to global users. This version, which was first used in the global variant of Huawei Mate X6, attracts attention with its multitasking features and security measures. EMUI 15 aims to enable users to both increase their productivity and use their devices more securely. On the other hand, some of the innovative features such as HarmonyOS NEXT are also integrated into this Android-based operating system.

The new operating system offers a different experience with lock screen themes. In particular, the interactive theme called “Emoji Crush” allows the emojis on the screen to change by shaking the device. In addition, the “Air Hoops” gesture integrated into the lock screen allows users to play basketball on the device. Such innovative features show that EMUI 15 comes not only with performance improvements but also a fun and user-friendly interface.

EMUI 15 features in multitasking and security

EMUI 15 attracts users’ attention with its multitasking features. The ability to run three different applications on the screen at the same time makes it especially easy to transition between work and personal use. While this feature aims to increase productivity, it also helps users save time. In this respect, EMUI 15 is considered a remarkable step among operating systems.

On the security side, EMUI 15 comes with important innovations. The system can automatically hide your notifications when it detects that someone else is looking at your screen. Moreover, when this happens, an alert is sent to smart watches. This feature contributes to the protection of users’ personal information, especially in crowded environments such as public transportation. This importance given to privacy is among the factors that take EMUI 15 one step forward.

Huawei Mate The device offers a wide viewing experience with its 7.93-inch LTPO OLED main screen and 6.45-inch cover screen. Supported by Kirin 9020 processor, 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, the phone stands out with its 50 MP main camera and 66W fast charging features. Huawei Mate X6 is expected to be offered to the European market with a price tag of 1,999 Euros.

A road map has not yet been announced regarding when EMUI 15 will come to other Huawei devices. However, with the innovations offered by this new operating system, it seems that Huawei has increased its claim on the software side. Users need to follow the update schedule closely to benefit from these features.
