This version, which was first used in the global variant of Huawei Mate X6, attracts attention with its multitasking features and security measures. EMUI 15 aims to enable users to both increase their productivity and use their devices more securely. On the other hand, some of the innovative features such as HarmonyOS NEXT are also integrated into this Android-based operating system.
The new operating system offers a different experience with lock screen themes. In particular, the interactive theme called “Emoji Crush” allows the emojis on the screen to change by shaking the device. In addition, the “Air Hoops” gesture integrated into the lock screen allows users to play basketball on the device. Huawei Mate X6 is expected to be offered to the European market with a price tag of 1,999 Euros.
A road map has not yet been announced regarding when EMUI 15 will come to other Huawei devices.
