Motorola announced the date for new Razr models, prices also revealed

Motorola officially announced that it will introduce its new generation foldable phones on April 29. The short promotional video shared by the company offered the first look at the new Motorola Razr models that come in different color options, and also clarified the calendar after long-standing leaks. Thus, it seems that the foldable phone competition will gain even more momentum in 2026.

Recently, activity in the foldable phone market has attracted attention. After Huawei took a different direction with its large-screen foldable approach, it is known that Samsung and Apple are working on new products in the similar segment. In this context, Motorola is also expanding its Razr brand and preparing a more comprehensive product family that is not limited to clamshell models only.

The shared promotional video includes the opening and closing animation of a flip phone with black, green and purple color options. Although device names are not directly mentioned, leaks reveal that Motorola will completely renew the Razr series. Accordingly, in addition to the standard Razr 2026 model, Razr Plus 2026, Razr Ultra 2026 and Razr Fold, a foldable model in book form for the first time, are expected to be introduced.

New Motorola Razr models and pricing details

Thanks to the information previously shared by the company about the Razr Fold model, most of the technical details are already known. Despite this, the leaks on the clamshell models have also become significantly clearer. The latest information shared by Dealabs points to remarkable changes on both the hardware and price side.

According to the leaked information, the US prices of the new models are listed as follows: $ 799.99 for Razr 2026, $ 1,099.99 for Razr Plus 2026, $ 1,499.99 for Razr Ultra 2026 and $ 1,899.99 for the book-type foldable Razr Fold. This table indicates an increase of $ 100, especially in the entry and middle segment models, while the increase in the upper segment Ultra model appears to reach $ 200. It is not surprising that Razr Fold has the highest price tag due to its foldable screen structure and larger form factor.

Besides this, the same leak suggests that the new models will be available in the USA on May 21, 2026.
