Microsoft has announced a series of updates to improve the PC and cloud gaming experience specifically for March. The company simplified the interface of the Game Bar application on Windows 11 and Windows 10, while on the Xbox Cloud Gaming side, it has introduced a new feature that facilitates the transition between games. In addition, new content advantages have been announced in some free games for Xbox Game Pass users.
Windows Game Bar offers a settled vehicle set where players can follow the system performance, take a screenshot and manage sound mixtures during games. The new version of this toolbar has gained a simpler appearance, especially in terms of the user interface. In addition to vehicle sets such as main menu bar and Capture, Performance, Resource, the Widget Store component was redesigned using less line and color. Thanks to these visual changes, the interface offers a lighter impression compared to previous versions. Microsoft says this simplification is the first step and visual updates will continue in the coming weeks.
Updates are not limited to Windows Game Bar
Updates are not only limited to Game Bar. On the Xbox Cloud Gaming side, innovations that will increase the user experience have been commissioned. It is now possible to switch without returning to the main menu among some games played over the cloud. Although this feature is available for only a few Assassin’s Creed games in the first place, the company plans to expand this support for more games in a short time.
In addition, the number of games that support the “Stream Your Own Game” feature, which allows Xbox users to play their own games through the cloud, is increasing. Thus, players will be able to play more games on their existing libraries via any device through internet connection.
Another development that Microsoft announced with this update was to expand the scope of in -game advantages for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. So far, the advantages such as character, cosmetic content and in -game money offered only in some premium games have now been included in free productions such as Heroes of the Storm. Call of Duty: Warzone will be added to this list as of April.
Valorant, Overwatch 2 and similar competitive games will continue to offer similar advantages. This innovation can make Game Pass membership more attractive, especially for users who focus on free games.
All these changes are considered as part of Microsoft’s goal of providing a more fluent and personalized experience for both PC players and cloud -based game services. Update the technical infrastructure with interface improvements can contribute to the company’s more competitive position in the game ecosystem. Particularly for users who play games through mobile and low -equipped devices, cloud -based improvements are remarkable.
