Microsoft presents the Intel -backed Surface Laptop 5G model on August 26th

Microsoft is preparing to expand the new ring of the Surface series with a 5G -supported model. Surface Laptop 5G, which will be available on August 26, includes innovations in terms of both hardware and connection. Equipped with Intel’s new generation Core Ultra processors, the device brings with it an artificial intelligence experience integrated with Copilot Plus. This model has been specially developed for professional users who prioritize productivity and mobility.

The Surface Laptop 5G is quite similar to the 13.8 -inch Surface Laptop 7, which was previously introduced at first glance. However, Microsoft has made some strategic changes in this new model and integrates 5G modem support. The Nano SIM card slot is located next to the device, while support is offered. Thus, users can establish uninterrupted connection while on the move.

Surface Laptop 5g is coming with a new antenna system

Microsoft has not only added a modem, but also designed the antenna system from the beginning. Six different antennas can automatically direct signaling depending on how the device is kept. The company has developed a new material that will not disrupt the signal permeability, and thanks to this material, a balance between performance and portability has been established. All these physical innovations are adapted to maintain the general design line of the device.

Surface Laptop 5G is offered with three different hardware configurations. The entry -level model features Intel Core Ultra 5 processors, 16 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD. The top model comes with Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. All variants will only be available in Surface’s classic platinum silver color.

Microsoft has taken the connection side of this model seriously and tested the device with more than 100 mobile operators in more than 50 countries. In this way, the device is not only connected to the internet, but can also be used as a 5G access point. This feature can be useful for users who want to connect multiple devices to the internet at the same time. This ability, especially for remote professionals, allows the laptop to behave like a mobile router.

Although the new Surface Laptop appears to the consumer market, Microsoft emphasizes that the device is actually developed for institutions. With this model, the company started to offer Surface Laptop 13 inch and Surface Pro 12 inch devices to corporate customers. Thus, a variety of devices that can be preferred according to different screen sizes and needs between users occurs. This diversity provides flexibility for both mobile use and desktop scenarios.

Microsoft’s Copilot Plus AI features can be used actively on this device. These features supported by artificial intelligence are directly effective in document creation, content editing and productivity software. Thanks to NPU as a separate hardware within the system, these transactions are carried out with lower energy consumption. This extends the battery life and ensures that performance is not compromised.

In addition to all these, the mobility -oriented structure of the device helps users maintain the same level of productivity in the outside office environments. The 5G connection offers great convenience in areas where it is difficult to reach Wi-Fi. Thanks to the support of the device and physical SIM support, installation processes are also very simplified. This configuration provides extra advantages, especially for traveling users.

Although Surface Laptop 5G targets the institutional segment, advanced hardware and artificial intelligence skills can be attractive for individual users. This model stands out as a powerful alternative for different user profiles such as software developers, content producers and field employees. The performance of Intel Core ultra processors can go beyond office applications and give effective results in more challenging scenarios. This makes the device a versatile vehicle.

It is not enough to see Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 5G as a 5G -supported computer. The device offers a balanced structure in the fields of connection, portability, artificial intelligence and design. In these aspects, Surface Laptop 5G is able to meet the requirements of the mobile working age. This new model, which will be available as of August 26, may attract attention especially in business lines that require high connection.
