Meta has launched a remarkable new incentive program to increase content production on the Facebook platform. The company especially targets content creators with large follower bases on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. The new system offered in this context includes payments of up to $3,000 per month to producers just for sharing content on Facebook. In addition, Meta aims to facilitate the transition process of content producers to the platform with this initiative. However, the limited duration of the program raises some questions in terms of long-term sustainability.
This new initiative, which Meta calls “Creator Fast Track”, supports the Content Monetization program that the company launched in 2024. Within the scope of this program, content producers; It can generate income based on the views and interactions obtained through posts, Reels videos and Stories. In addition, the Fast Track program aims to accelerate adaptation to the platform by providing additional income to newly participating manufacturers at the initial stage. On the other hand, Meta plans to help content producers generate income in a shorter time by increasing their reach.
Details of the new incentive model for Facebook content creators
According to the new program, content producers who have at least 100 thousand followers on another platform can receive a monthly incentive payment of $ 1,000. For producers with 1 million or more followers, this figure goes up to $3,000 per month. Despite this, content producers must share a certain number of Reels. However, the noteworthy point is that a specific interaction target is not required to earn these payments. However, the content does not have to be only in video format; Text and photo sharing and Stories are also included in the revenue model.
However, this incentive program is not designed as a permanent source of income. The payments offered will only be valid for three months. Meta officials state that these payments are intended to compensate for the difficulties in starting to produce content on a new platform. In addition, the company expects that the main profit in the long term will be obtained from the revenue model based on content performance.
This is not the first time Meta has attempted to attract content creators to the platform with high payments. In the past, large budgets were allocated to publishers for Facebook Watch, and similar incentives were offered for live broadcast and game content. Despite this, it is known that some programs were terminated on the grounds that they were not sustainable. It was noteworthy that the system, which was reserved especially for Reels and offered monthly payments of up to $ 35,000, would be closed in 2023.
However, the company has recently been focusing on a more sustainable model. According to Meta’s data, a total of approximately $3 billion was paid to Facebook content producers in 2025. This figure marks the highest payout level in the platform’s history. On the other hand, some content producers report that they earn serious income thanks to the new system. For example, it is stated that a publisher producing political content earned $250,000 in just one month.
In addition to all this, it seems that this program, which works by invitation, is not yet fully known by the masses. Despite this, Meta aims to make this system more visible and attract more content creators to the platform with its new Fast Track initiative.
