WhatsApp has begun to test a new feature to help organize group chats on the iOS platform. This structure, which is called as messages sequences, allows a message to be collected on a separate screen. The initiation of the process on the iOS side after the tests initiated in android in March shows that the general distribution was approached.
According to information shared by Wabetaınfo, this feature in the iOS beta version, users can view all the answers given to a specific message on a new screen. A small indicator just below the message indicates the number of answers. When this indicator is touched, all feedback linked to the message can be seen in a separate interface. Users can also send new answers from this screen and all interaction is kept in a directory. In this way, it becomes easier to track of messages, especially in fast -moving conversations.
This feature is not on WhatsApp’s basic chat screen, but on a special directory screen opened by the relevant message. In other words, in WhatsApp, this building is solved with a screen transition, unlike a direct arranged display on platforms such as Slack or Discord. However, it can be said that this method makes mixed conversations more understandable. Especially in active groups with more than 50 people, extracting reactions to previous messages was often challenging. Now the answers are presented together to reduce the loss of context.
WhatsApp aims to facilitate the follow -up of group chats.
For the first time in March 2025, messages were started to be tried for Android. The fact that it is now on the iOS platform suggests that the transition to the stable version in both systems is approaching. Before this transition, WhatsApp has collected feedback with a limited number of beta users. The iOS users who are included in the testflight program are among those who first tried the feature. This structure is expected to be presented to a wider audience in the coming weeks.
In addition, WhatsApp is working on other innovations to reduce the in -group message load. One of them, artificial intelligence -supported message summarizing feature is currently tested only in the USA. Users can get short summaries for unread messages. WhatsApp plans to bring this feature to other countries. Thus, not only correspondence, but also rapid access to information is prioritized.
