Lenovo introduced innovative accessory concepts for Thinkbook 16P Gen 6

Lenovo introduced four new concept accessories developed for the ThinkBook 16P Gene 6 laptop, as well as the new concept computer at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025) in Barcelona. These modular plug -ins, which works on the magnetic port called Magic Bay, offer creative solutions that appeal to different usage scenarios. It remains unclear when these accessories, which are only in the concept phase, will be released. However, when we look at their designs, it is seen that it aims to both professional users and those looking for entertainment -oriented solutions.

The concept accessories introduced by Lenovo are listed as follows:

  • Magic Bay 2nd Display Concept: A vertical screen of 8 -inch is designed for users focusing on social media and communication applications.
  • Magic Bay Dual Screen Concept: With two screens with a renewal speed of 120 Hz in 13.3 -inch, it converts the laptop into a three -screen system.
  • Magic Bay “Code Name Tiko” Concept: Developed as a small, round screen, this accessory serves as an artificial intelligence -supported emoji friend.
  • Magic Bay “Code Name Tiko Pro” Concept: It is designed as a thin horizontal screen that offers Lenovo’s AI Now integration and Widget support.

Lenovo’s Magic Bay 2nd Display and Dual Screen concepts aim to increase productivity by providing multi -screen experience, especially for mobile employees. Magic Bay 2nd Display comes as a screen with a 8 -inch 1920 x 1200 resolution 60 Hz refreshing rate. Thanks to its vertical positioning, Microsoft Teams offers an ideal usage area for social media streams as well as communication applications such as Slack.

On the other hand, the Magic Bay Dual Screen concept makes the laptop a three -screen installation. This system, which consists of a 13.3 -inch, 2880 x 1920 resolution and 120 Hz renewal rate, offers a high -resolution imaging experience. However, the requirement of extra weight transport may cause a disadvantage for some users. This plug -in weighing about 1.2 kg brings as much additional load as a MacBook Air. Those who examine this concept of Lenovo say that the idea of a three -screen laptop is impressive, but has some difficulties in terms of use.

The Tiko series, one of Lenovo’s most remarkable concepts, was developed as an artificial intelligence -backed digital friend. Tiko, which has two different versions, aims to help users motivated throughout their working days. Tiko Pro offers a horizontal screen designed for Widgets, while the standard Tiko offers a completely entertainment -oriented experience.

Tiko has a structure similar to the desktop artificial intelligence assistant AI Buddy, which Lenovo has previously introduced. AI Buddy was introduced as a chatbot that detects voice commands and can perform some operations on the computer. However, Tiko aims to provide a much more fun interaction experience than functionality. For example, when the user makes a heart movement, the hearts appear on the screen and the accessory can be used with a case with a small cat design.

Lenovo aims to meet the needs and to increase pleasure

It is considered an interesting approach that these innovative accessories are designed for a business -oriented laptop like ThinkBook 16p Gen 6. Lenovo aims to meet the multi -screen needs of professional users and to make daily working routines more enjoyable. Although it is unclear whether these devices, which are still in the concept phase, will be released, Lenovo is trying to reshape laptop experience with modular accessories.
