Infinix steps into the foldable phone market with Zero Flip

Infinix takes its first step into the foldable phone market with the Zero Flip model. Transsion Holdings brand chose a vertical cover design for its first foldable device, and this new model is quite similar to the recently released Tecno Phantom V Flip 2.

Infinix Zero Flip, like its Tecno counterpart, has a 6.9-inch main display. This screen consists of an LTPO AMOLED panel with FHD + resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits peak brightness. The cover screen of the device is a 3.64-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels and is supported by a 120 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection.

There are two vertically placed cameras above the cover screen: 50 MP main camera (GN5) with OIS support and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. In the hole above the main screen, there is a front camera with 50 MP resolution. The device, where all three cameras can record 4K video, also offers seamless integration with GoPro cameras. The ability to use Zero Flip’s main screen as a viewfinder also draws attention.

Looking at its dimensions, Zero Flip weighs 195 grams and is 16 mm thick when folded and 7.6 mm thick when opened. Thanks to the zero-gap hinge system, the phone can be closed completely flat. It is also possible to place the device on a flat surface and use it as a tripod, since the hinge can be fixed at angles between 30 and 150 degrees.

On the software side, it comes with the Android 14-based XOS 14.5 operating system. Infinix promises two major Android updates and three years of security updates for this device. Its 4720 mAh capacity battery offers 70W wired fast charging support.

How much should you pay for Infinix Zero Flip?

Infinix Zero Flip comes in Rock Black and Blossom Glow color options. The device, which is offered for sale in Nigeria at a price of 1 million 65 thousand Naira (21828 TL), is expected to hit global markets in the coming months.
