The claim that Apple will manufacture the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models in India as well as China was recently on the agenda. The claim that Foxconn, the number one production partner of the Cupertino-based company, started training its employees at its factory in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu was also shared. A new leak has emerged supporting this claim.
In the post shared on Weibo, there is a sticker that appears to have been taken from the box of the iPhone 16 Pro. This sticker, which is thought to have been stuck to the back of the box, reads, “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in India.”
The authenticity of this leak is yet to be confirmed as it comes from an unknown source. The label coincides with rumors about “Made in India” iPhone Pro models, making it more likely to be true.
It is also among the claims that Apple will only produce Pro models in India. It is said that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will not be produced in India. It is also among the rumors that the production period in India will start shortly after the official announcement.
Other suppliers will also produce iPhone 16 Pro for Apple
Along with Foxconn, Pegatron and Tata Group are also expected to produce iPhone 16 Pros for Apple in India. It is also rumored that the company will send most of the iPhones produced there to the US, Europe and the Middle East.
